Job Description:
As an Associate Software Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be involved in developing hardware-accelerated solutions using the latest technologies in deep learning, artificial intelligence, and distributed systems. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with worldwide matrixed software teams, focusing on AI-based solutions for Broadcast, Robotics, Automotive, Medical, and Intelligent Video Analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement AI streaming software SDK for end-to-end solutions.
- Develop new programming paradigms for Deep Learning applications on heterogeneous computing platforms.
- Work on system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle with a focus on high standards for clear requirements, software quality, and performance.
- Design new AI-based streaming applications and lead technical design discussions.
- Write code in C++14/17/20 and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills Required:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Software development experience on Linux.
- Proficiency in C++ 14/17/20 and CUDA.
- Background in video/image processing, computer vision, deep learning, and video codecs technologies.
- Strong understanding of operating systems concepts, scheduler, memory management, and distributed programming.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for expanding technical knowledge into new areas.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, dockers, k8s, and communication protocols such as RDMA.
