Java Developer – Google careers Off Campus Drive 2023
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of web development, from requirements gathering to ongoing support and maintenance.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to innovate, design, and build access and identity governance and management solutions.
- Develop and deploy applications, integrations, and web services that challenge and change fundamental assumptions of how IT works.
- Integrate third-party products into internal systems and support/upgrade implemented systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve business processes.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE and Web Services (e.g., RESTful/SOAP).
- Experience in implementing, configuring, customizing, and integrating third-party software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fullstack development experience with technologies such as Application/Web Servers (e.g., JBoss/Tomcat), IIS-ASP.NET, JavaScript/AngularJS, Python, and relational databases.
- Participation in the full software development lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).
- Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing), and web technologies.
Key Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to act like an owner, take initiative, and innovate to meet user and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
