Job Description
BlackBerry is looking for Systems Software Integration Developers to work with their newest and largest customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of QNX products and innovative technologies, contributing to areas such as ADAS, electrification, autonomous driving, high-performance computing, virtualization, and automotive systems. Your role will involve reviewing system-level architecture, debugging customer issues, participating in safety and security discussions, and creating “Proof Of Concept” apps to aid integration of QNX modules into customer systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Work alongside Senior Systems Software Integration Developers reviewing system level architecture.
- Solve and debug customer issues.
- Participate in safety and security related topics (training will be provided).
- Write “Proof Of Concept” apps to aid integration of QNX modules into customer systems.
Skills Required
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong C programming skills.
- Hands-on experience of system programming in embedded systems.
- Hands-on development experience using embedded operating systems (QNX, Linux, GreenHills, VXworks preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking/innovation skills.
- Proven ability to handle matters with diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality.
- Passion and a desire to learn about new technologies.
